A beautifully resolved piece of British mid-century design. This teak desk and dressing table was designed by Frank Guille for Austinsuite in the early 1960s — a period when British furniture makers were producing some of their finest work.

The piece is defined by its clean, horizontal silhouette and the warmth of solid teak grain, which has mellowed to a rich, honeyed tone over six decades. Six drawers — three to each pedestal — offer generous storage while keeping the aesthetic uncluttered. It works equally well as a dressing table, a home office desk, or a statement console in a bedroom or hallway.
